A call at dawn and tragic news. The plane carrying the Chapecoense team to the Liberators' final would have made a forced landing near Medellín in Colombia. Until then there had been no concrete passenger news. An hour before embarking, the Colombian government had confirmed that only 6 people would have survived.
All other 71 passengers do not. When we arrived in Medellin, the information had been confirmed. Inside the victims, the amiable sports journalist and friend André Podiacki. I share with you here the most difficult report that the Diário Catarinense's team has ever had. The most relevant experience I have ever had as a photo reporter and also the most painful.
A tribute to the victims, the friend and also the Colombian people. For all the comfort and affection that have passed us.
